Privacy Policy
Last updated:
This privacy policy explains what information WoW Forever Tips (“we”, “us”, “the site”) collects when you visit wowforever.tips, how cookies are used, and how advertising provided by Google works. It applies to every page on this site, including the WoW Forever home page and all guides.
Summary
- We do not offer accounts, logins, comments or newsletters, so we do not ask you for personal information.
- The class quiz and countdown run entirely in your browser. Quiz answers are not sent to us or stored on a server. A shared result link contains only the class name (for example
?result=mage). - Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs.
- If advertising is enabled, Google and its partners may use cookies to serve and measure ads, as described below.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, our hosting and content-delivery provider (Cloudflare) may process technical data such as your IP address, browser type, the page you requested, the referring page and the time of the request. This is used for security, preventing abuse and keeping the site running. We do not use it to identify individual visitors. TODO: verify — final hosting provider and whether any analytics tool (e.g. Cloudflare Web Analytics) is enabled.
Cookies
Cookies are small text files stored by your browser. The site itself does not need cookies to work. Cookies may be set by third parties when advertising is turned on:
- Advertising cookies set by Google and its partners to show ads, limit how often you see the same ad, measure performance and prevent fraud.
- Consent cookies set by Google’s consent management platform to remember your choices if you are in the European Economic Area, the UK or Switzerland.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking cookies does not stop the site from working.
Google AdSense and advertising
We may use Google AdSense to display ads. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google’s Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors’ use of cookies for personalized advertising at www.aboutads.info. To learn more about how Google uses data, see How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.
If ads are not personalized, Google may still use cookies or similar technologies for frequency capping, aggregated reporting and fraud prevention.
Consent for visitors in the EEA, UK and Switzerland
For visitors in these regions, consent is collected through a Google-certified consent management platform (CMP) before personalized advertising cookies are used. The consent message is provided by Google; you can change your choice at any time using the privacy settings link shown by that message. We do not run our own custom consent pop-up.
California and other US state privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to know what personal information is collected, to request deletion, and to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information for targeted advertising. Because we do not collect personal information directly, most requests concern data held by Google; you can use the opt-out links above, and you can contact us with any questions.
Children
This site is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
